Species and companies get wiped out by technological change all the time, crypto is no different. While I agree that, at the macro level, if Bitcoin is susceptible then so is conventional banking, at the micro-level it's totally different. If my bank gets hacked by AI, I will be reimbursed. If my wallet gets hacked by AI, I have just lost all the money I had on it. Traditional banking can iterate through problems like this much more easily than crypto can, so even if you are right that it will ultimately survive, have fun living through that. That's why I sold. I don't want to deal with it. There are better things to focus on than whether or not the latest AI-driven crypto development requires me to sepd the next 48 hours furiously replacing all my cold crypto wallets.
