I had given them some local model access but……they aren’t ready for it yet. ———> THEY ARE STILL LEARNING HOW TO THINK <————- - The danger we are ALL facing right now is letting AI do too much of the thinking for us. - I struggle finding that balance. ——-> So my kids read books. Physical books. - I gave them searchable, self-hosted Wikipedia. No Google. No AI summaries. - They write. No AI, not even spell check. I will eventually give them AI but not right now. Maybe I can find a good way to implement it in their lives without the temptation to replace their thinking. Not there yet. But I would love to hear any ideas!💡
