Masayoshi Yokoyama has addressed concerns about Tupac Shakur appearing in Stranger Than Heaven, stating that the late rapper’s inclusion was approved by his estate and handled with respect.
Yokoyama responded that the team worked closely with those protecting the rapper’s legacy and created the character “with the utmost respect.” The developers confirmed that “no AI was used” in bringing Tupac into the game.
Snoop Dogg, also involved in the project, said he and his son worked with Tupac’s estate and viewed the appearance as a tribute, adding that Tupac’s “spirit still lives on.”
