the crazy thing is that nothing that Francesca Hong is doing is even all that exceptional. shes just the only candidate willing to actually do the work needed to run a campaign.
I took a look at the number of canvass events on Mobilize for Dem Wisconsin Governor campaigns.
Here's the distribution.

One of these is an electable campaign. The rest aren't.
