Democrats secured more than 100 changes to the Clarity Act, including amendments to self-custody rights, a best execution requirement, and a new Office of the Retail Commodity Advocate written into the Clarity Act. If this bill fails, those protections vanish with it, and Democrats will have no one to blame for that outcome but themselves.
