people everywhere will still do the“what you posted vs what I took” thing. and yes someone will look at you faceand decide you profession in 2 seconds. but that says more about them than you. and this shows up in how people rank content too: pretty girl photos, shitposting → low value research, data, technical writing → high value most people rely on shortcuts: appearance → assumption → label because actually understanding someone takes effort. But in 2026 information is everywhere. AI can write better threads than most people Attention is scarce. truly exceptional technical writing is too (maybe not even 0.1%) and holding attention consistently takes way more than just information. taste. timing. energy. presence. a research thread informs you. but something with real aesthetic and emotional pull makes you stop, feel, remember. Everyone on X is just chasing attention and growth. no one’s as high value as they think.
