Microsoft just shipped one of the biggest updates for Windows 11, with a movable taskbar, Windows Search without Bing and Microsoft Store results, and the ability to customize the Start menu! 1. Taskbar: You can now move the taskbar to the top, right, or left side, similar to Windows 10. You can also enable a smaller taskbar that shrinks the entire taskbar, not just the icons, as it did earlier on Windows 11. 2. You can now entirely disable Bing and Microsoft Store results in Windows Search, which makes it faster and more reliable. 3. You can now customize the Start menu, including the ability to fully remove the Recommended feed (now called Recent), and just have Pinned apps or the All apps list. It is now possible to choose which section appears and hide everything else. Moreover, you can now make the Start menu smaller if you dislike how it dynamically adjusts.
