Robinhood CEO: Goal Is for More Than 95% of U.S. Households to Own Stocks
Robinhood CEO and co-founder Vlad Tenev
@vladtenev said in an August 24 interview with The Iced Coffee Hour that one number he has been closely watching is the percentage of U.S. households that own stocks.
That figure is currently around 65%, compared with just over 50% before Robinhood, and he is now asking whether it can rise above 95%. Vlad said Robinhood wants to broaden asset ownership beyond stocks to other types of assets as well, with initiatives such as Trump Accounts, private markets, and tokenization potentially helping more people participate.
