CCTV footage showed people fleeing in panic as a massive wall of mud, rocks, and water rapidly engulfed buildings, vehicles, and the checkpoint area, cutting off roads, communications, and power. Local authorities have reported major casualties and missing persons, with large-scale rescue operations now underway. We pray that all those affected remain safe and that casualties can be kept to the absolute minimum.
