No one is trying to disrupt Vite, or GSAP. In fact I’m sure installs of all of them are through the roof. I do wonder what is going to happen to this layer of software in the next 10 years, I don’t feel like there are new engineers entering the field who are excited to build these kinds of frameworks.

The models are getting to the point where they are so good, almost no one will read source code in a year or two. There may be exceptions in industries like HFT or super hard tech, but when it comes to consumer products it will be the equivalent of reading a binary today.
