I'm incredibly happy with the decision to use jsonc for nub.jsonc
👉 machine-writable
👉 human-readable
👉 NESTABLE without redundancy
and no key-quoting footguns. in JS-land lots of configs involve keys with special characters (dependencies, exports)

I’m having a real problem: why is TOML a thing? Someone decided to reinvent INI files from the 1980s and discard all of the reasons we moved on from them over the last 40 years
