Feels weird to say this but I haven’t particularly enjoyed either of my trips to the Louvre.
Of course it’s grand and impressive, but something about the museum is very overwhelming. Maybe it’s the crowds. Or maybe it’s the layout, which is hard to follow. Or maybe because there’s so much pressure on A Day at The Louvre.

My hot take is that the Louvre is too big to be taken in or properly enjoyed and something like half of its collection should be distributed among other museums
