You mean the guy that did 485 days in combat, was wounded along with 80% of his platoon, and was decorated for valor?
The guy that tried saving a little Afghan girl during his first 5 minutes in theater off of a helicopter, but she bled out and died in his arms? While he frantically looked for a medic to revive her?
That guy?
He is a warrior; and therefore reviled by the media. Because he is a warrior who believes “the wrong things” in their eyes.
Which makes him uniquely qualified for such a role IMO.
Judge a man by his enemies. And Sean Parnell seems to have all the right ones.
The media (and many politicians) only love Soldiers when they’re dead.
A tale as old as time.
