Mac Minis are consumer-grade hardware. They are not built to run 24/7 in a data center.
They break more than servers. They're not optimized for that thermal load.
But because Apple has no enterprise motion, AI labs are literally rack-mounting mac minis in data centers.
This is not efficient at any level. Neither ecologically nor operationally.
Apple is accidentally winning the AI infra revenue only because agents need macOS.
