The 82% figure comes from a denominator error: it counts only pregnancies that had already ended, months into a nine-month process, which at that point meant mostly the losses. The healthy pregnancies were still ongoing. A cover-up conducted by publication in the world’s most-read medical journal is a genuinely novel approach.
