Open-endedness has been a central problem in Artificial Life for decades. Now @arcprize says ARC-AGI-4 will benchmark "autonomous open-ended innovation." Great. But how do you benchmark a property whose whole point is continuous novelty and never-ending invention?/1 🧵👇
