This is a pretty big announcement. Phil Schiller was right there with Steve Jobs and Tim Cook at the start of Apple's comeback in 1997-1998. He is officially stepping back to only his Apple Fellow role. Phil has a combined 35 years of service to Apple 1987 - 1993 & 1997-today

Every waking moment of Steve Jobs's adult life had been spent building Apple. When it was taken away, he had no real friends and no other life to turn to, so he simply vanished for a while, and nobody knew where he'd gone or whether he'd return.⁣ ⁣

“Here is one of the things that takes founders a long time to learn: No matter how great your idea is, no one cares. Everybody is so distracted that you could probably put that idea with exact instructions for how to implement it on Tim Cook’s desk and take no risk.”

Bahkan, di IMSA musim ini saat di Laguna Seca, Porsche Penske menggunakan livery ikonik Apple di Porsche 963-nya, dan Ternus juga turut datang. Bukan langkah mudah meneruskan kesuksesan Apple dari era Tim Cook, jadi CEO salah satu perusahaan terbesar di dunia. Mungkin ia pun bakal jarang track day lagi di akhir pekan. Namun, sebagai sesama penikmat balap, bolehlah kita sedikit berharap: apakah Ternus nantinya akan menghadirkan gebrakan baru di dunia motorsport bersama Apple di era baru-nya?

Interesting meeting at Apple Park yesterday South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas met with Tim Cook to discuss AI, renewable energy and Australia’s social media age limits. Malinauskas says Cook told him Apple’s upcoming parental control changes were inspired in part by Australia’s social media age-limit push.
