Huge Update from the Noah’s Ark 2026 Scientific Expedition: Shallow drilling has officially begun today, and it has been a VERY exciting day. We are carefully drilling down 2 meters and will be collecting over 1,400 samples across the area including in the ark formation. Deeper drilling is planned in approximately 6–7 locations, reaching depths of up to 20 meters. Because the diameter of these holes is very narrow, we are not able to send in a drone at this stage. But, this current phase is an important test as we prepare for next month’s deeper core drilling work. Every step is being taken with precision and care as we continue investigating this remarkable site in the Mountains of Ararat. This is where things get very exciting.
