Think about all those women selling foodstuff, akara, fufu, pepper, garri and other items. Have you ever wondered how they've survived for 10–15 years while raising 4 or 5 children? She tells you, "If I have an extra ₦500,000, I can buy in bulk during harvest season, store it, and make more profit." You provide the ₦500,000. She runs the business. You both agree on how you'll share the returns. That's investing in a business without quitting your job or opening a shop. Many of them are far wealthier than people realize. You'd be surprised that some can pay 3-5% on your money every month. That's about 60% a year. Very few conventional investments offer returns like that. Sometimes, the opportunity isn't starting another business. It's becoming a silent partner or angel investor in someone else's.
