$GOOGL, MN8 & $EOSE TO BUILD $350M WEST VIRGINIA ENERGY PROJECT Google, MN8 Energy and Eos are developing a major solar + storage project in West Virginia to support Google’s regional data centers. The Mammoth Solar project will include: • 86 MW of utility-scale solar • 70 MW / 280 MWh of lithium-ion storage • 10 MW / 100 MWh of Eos Z3 zinc-based long-duration storage Google will purchase the project’s energy, capacity and clean-energy attributes, including for its planned West Virginia data center. The project will be built on a reclaimed coal mine and represents up to $350M in investment. It will also be West Virginia’s first commercial-scale long-duration energy storage deployment and Google’s first project using Eos’ Z3 technology. Solar operations are expected in 2028, lithium-ion storage in 2029 and Eos long-duration storage in 2030.
