FORMER ANTHROPIC RESEARCHER JACOB COXON BRIEFS 100+ TOP NYC BUSINESS LEADERS ON AI RISKS
Jacob Coxon recently spoke virtually with more than 100 members of the Partnership for New York City, in what one attendee described as one of the group’s most highly attended meetings in recent memory.
The Partnership represents 300+ companies, with board members including BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, IBM CEO Arvind Krishna and NYSE Group President Lynn Martin.
The session was largely Q&A, with executives questioning Coxon on AI-driven cybersecurity risks, regulation, effective altruism and whether AI ultimately requires a global regulatory framework.
The group typically hosts major executives and policymakers focused on issues directly affecting New York businesses, making Coxon’s appearance unusual.
One attendee compared the level of interest to Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla’s updates to the group during the pandemic.
