Over the past day we dealt with a security incident stemming from a vulnerability in a third-party Cosmos EVM component — a shared dependency used across many chains, not something specific to Warden. Warden’s consensus mechanism did what it was designed to do and halted the chain, containing the issue on the spot. The vulnerability has been patched and the chain has been fully restored. All funds were kept safe and secure. Our thanks to the validators, who did the hard work here, and to our exchange partners for moving quickly with us.
