⚓️ Ethra Ship Notes|Vol.033
Today, I found myself thinking less about ships...
And more about information.
For decades, maritime logistics has focused on moving physical cargo efficiently.
Now another challenge is emerging.
Moving reliable data.
Every container has a destination.
Every vessel follows a route.
Every shipment generates countless data points.
The question is no longer whether information exists.
It's whether that information can be trusted.
As global trade becomes increasingly digital, information starts behaving like infrastructure itself.
Without reliable data...
Ports become less efficient.
Markets become less informed.
Risk becomes harder to measure.
That's why I think maritime intelligence is becoming just as valuable as maritime transportation.
One moves cargo.
The other moves confidence.
The future of RWA may not only depend on bringing assets onchain.
It may depend on bringing trustworthy real-world information onchain as well.
That feels like the next layer of infrastructure.
