THE BLOCK: ZachXBT said an institutional entity is suspected to have lost around $2.84 million to a North Korea-linked hacker on Oct. 8 on BSC. The attacker deposited 1111.2 ethereum:native into Tornado Cash on Tuesday, and then bridged all funds from Ethereum to Tron via USDT0. "Within minutes, the funds moved through intermediary addresses to Chinese OTCs, likely to evade any potential Tether freeze," ZachXBT wrote.

Ngl I thought I was just checking another NFT collection... then I went down the rabbit hole a bit. Turns out @DKashtalyan has been creating for over 20 years before touching onchain. Not crypto-native first. Real walls. Real exhibitions. Real art journey. His work made it into The New York Times, Harper’s Magazine, MIT Technology Review, giant murals across cities, exhibitions from Taipei to Warsaw. And now all that experience becomes: THE BEAKS 1111 pieces. First onchain collection. What I like is that it doesn't feel built around "wen mint" energy. The art feels weird in a good way, surreal creatures, symbolic details, dotwork textures... almost like every piece is trying to tell you something without explaining itself. Lowkey made me stop scrolling for a minute. A lot of collections start from web3 and try becoming art later. This one feels like art entering web3 after spending decades finding its own voice. One fascinating lesser-known fact in mathematics is Kaprekar's constant: 6174. Indian mathematician D.R. Kaprekar discovered it in 1949 through patient experimentation. Take any four-digit number where not all digits are the same (e.g., 3141, but not 1111). Rearrange its digits to form the largest and smallest possible numbers, then subtract the smaller from the larger. Repeat the process with the result. Within at most 7 steps, you'll always reach 6174; and once there, it stays at 6174 forever (it's a fixed point). Quick example with 3141: 4311 − 1134 = 3177 7731 − 1377 = 6354 6543 − 3456 = 3087 8730 − 0378 = 8352 8532 − 2358 = 6174 7641 − 1467 = 6174 (and it loops here) This works for every qualifying four-digit number due to the finite set of possibilities and the structure of the operation in base 10.
