The 2-4 hours you spend scrolling each day (or 730-1460 hours each year) is more than enough time to write a book, build a business, or get in shape. In the moment, it seems like nothing. That's why it's so dangerous. Your time disappears without you being conscious of it.

When FIFA first put tickets on sale for the 2026 World Cup final, its prices left fans aghast. Many upper-deck seats cost $4,210; anything closer to the field was $6,730. In subsequent months, FIFA raised those prices, all the way to $10,990 in Category 1, and fans around the world howled. But on the eve of Sunday’s final, the secondary market makes those FIFA prices look like bargains. More from @HenryBushnell ⬇️ 🔗

BITCOIN IS BACK AT THE 4-YEAR GRAVITY WELL At $63,851, Bitcoin is 48.8% below its all-time high. Yet it is only 3.6% above its 1,460-day moving average. Only 381 of 4,290 valid daily deviations were lower. Using one fixed matching rule, I found five prior episodes at approximately the same deviation. All five were higher 365 and 730 days later. Median return: 365 days: +124% 730 days: +506% Five matches are not destiny. The sample is small, parameter-sensitive, and some forward windows overlap. This is what rare Bitcoin geometry looks like. The tourists see a broken asset. The mathematics sees a compressed spring:

ZBT traded in the $0.10–$0.12 range throughout the week, with consistent trading volumes and solid liquidity conditions. Spreads stayed exceptionally tight, with the average top-of-book spread at just 0.45%. Crypto market experienced a corrective phase during June 22–28, 2026, influenced by hawkish signals from the Federal Reserve, profit-taking, and mixed geopolitical developments. Total crypto market capitalization moved from roughly $2.15T–$2.20T early in the period down toward the $2.05T–$2.10T area by Sunday, while Bitcoin dominance stayed near 57–58%. Bitcoin started the week around $63,200–$64,000 and reached an intraday high above $65,500 on June 22 before declining. It touched a low near $58,000 mid-week and closed Sunday around $59,900–$60,000, for a net drop of roughly 6–7%. Ethereum followed a similar path, opening near $1,700–$1,730, peaking around $1,780, and finishing the week near $1,560–$1,570, down about 8–9%. Derivatives metrics reflected cautious sentiment. Total open interest remained in the $100B–$110B range. Liquidations increased during the selloff, often reaching $300M–$500M on active days. Funding rates on major pairs such as BTC/USDT moved to neutral or slightly negative levels. On the macro side, the Federal Reserve held rates at 3.50–3.75% but shifted its dot plot in a more hawkish direction, raising expectations for possible rate hikes later in 2026. Geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran eased following a mid-June memorandum of understanding that extended the ceasefire and included plans to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, which helped push oil prices lower and provided some support to risk assets. US stock markets ended the week modestly higher, with the S&P 500 up around 1.5%. Bitcoin spot ETFs saw continued outflows earlier in the month, though activity showed some stabilization toward the end of the week. On-chain data pointed to ongoing accumulation by long-term holders during the price weakness. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index stayed in extreme fear territory, around 12–16. In summary, the week was marked by a clear downward correction in prices driven by macro caution and earlier profit-taking. Geopolitical de-escalation offered limited relief, while derivatives positioning and on-chain flows suggested the market was absorbing selling pressure rather than entering a deeper breakdown. With fear readings elevated and leverage appearing contained, the period reflected consolidation after recent volatility.
