The same week, the White House restricted GPT 5.6 to 20 companies, OpenAI delayed its IPO, and Neuralink announced it may attempt brain-to-brain telepathy this year. -- GPT 5.6 launches in three tiers: Sol, Terra, Luna all throttled by the White House. -- Chinese proxy services offer Western frontier models at 90% discount. The trade: your reasoning traces get harvested for distillation. -- OpenAI won't IPO below $1 trillion. Revenue is at $40–50B annually but they're burning $26B. -- Elon's endgame for Neuralink is I/O layer for the singularity, allowing humans to couple with AI directly.

A trillion sensor in space, in the air and on the ground will allow us to know anything, anywhere, at any time. There will be no hiding.. A good thing... Humans behave better when they’re being watched.

Abundance isn’t just more compute and more energy. It’s more minds. More people free to invent, create, and solve. The ceiling on human genius has always been the size of the human population, and their access to tools and resources. As humanity moves into space we shatter all limitations.

I've known @elonmusk for 26 years, and there's lots of noise about him becoming a trillionaire. If one thing defines him, it's that he's NOT driven by money, but instead by solving our world's toughest problems.

The second you reach for the words “ban,” “stop,” or “eliminate” as your policy, you're on the wrong side of history.  Shape the technology toward the goal, don't try to outlaw the future.

I've watched Elon build SpaceX from a rented warehouse in El Segundo to a $1.75 trillion valuation. Every expert said it was impossible — too expensive, too risky, government would never allow it. Today it prices for the largest IPO in history. Never bet against Elon! Some lessons cost real money to learn.

SpaceX starts trading on Nasdaq tomorrow. Amazon 1997. Tesla 2010. SpaceX 2026. Looking back from 2040 — which IPO do you wish you'd held? I'll answer for myself: all of them. But SpaceX might be the only one that keeps humanity alive.
