Bit Reactor, the studio behind Star Wars Zero Company, has furloughed most of its staff just weeks before the game’s launch.
Around 80% of the team may have been affected, according to sources cited by Game File, leaving only a small group working on the game after launch.
Bit Reactor says the decision was made by the studio itself and was not ordered by EA or Disney, the studio ran out of most of its funding before the game launched.
The developers who were furloughed could potentially return if Star Wars Zero Company performs well enough
There’s also a separate legal fight going on between co-founder Alison Kelly and Greg Foertsch over who actually owns the studio. Kelly is seeking more than $20 million in damages, while Foertsch disputes her ownership claims.
Bit of a down-board sleeper for 2027, but keep an eye on Central Florida 3B Ethan Puig next spring. Elite bat-to-ball artist both inside and outside of zone. Hyper-aggressive hitter who puts game in motion. Average tools elsewhere.
Scrappy little player.
Bit of fun we have been scoring ourselves with grok and thought what the hell let’s do yours @elonmusk, I agree with most of its take, however it should have used Maximus 😂
Bit of a weed ban in Texas rant inc...
Pretty sure the Texas THC ban only covers some stuff (as per my buddy store owner in town)
Every time I come in and say bro what are yall gonna do after news like this he just says oh we just sell this new thing now.
The weed devs are so far ahead of the game they already know about these things like 2 years in advance.
Pretty sure all that's going to happen is I will be met with a sea of new lab grown weed to try and im not mad at it... It's been getting really good actually.
