real charisma is when you leave a conversation & the person you spoke with keeps thinking about you fondly, & curiously long after you’re gone.

Can Andy Burnham, Labour’s charismatic chameleon, reinvent himself again?
BIG MAMA'S HOUSE 🏡 @Latto's ambition, charisma and pen have made her one of rap's leading ladies. With 'Sugar Honey Iced Tea,' she's aiming for nothing less than a Southern hip-hop classic. She talks her new album & more in her Billboard cover story:

Do you want to know if this stunning JJK mommy is only money motivated? I have heard that Mei Mei doesn't mind the company of charismatic boys (Such as Gojo Satoru, what I, respectfully, understand) So why don't you give it a try this month? Link in the comments ⬇️ #jjk#

Nicky is a machine. He moves at an insanely fast pace while still staying relentlessly focused on the north star. He’s incredibly efficient, but also very thoughtful in how he makes decisions. On top of that, he’s ridiculously charismatic and genuinely lovable… the kind of person who can walk into a room, break the ice instantly, and get people to cut through the bullshit. What stands out most to me though is how good he is at delegation and trust. He empowers the people around him, gives them ownership, and backs them to execute. It feels really great to have someone see your strengths and skill set and really trust your judgement and ability to execute, because they see your worth. It’s sometimes shocking to feel how un-micromanaged I am on a daily basis. Earlier this year, Nicky reached out to me and basically warned me he was about to take on something big. He told me we’d probably need to have a conversation soon about how I could help build the vision with him. One smoothie meetup in Wynwood later, I was completely sold and it’s been full speed ever since. I’m fully in my lane and essentially in my solana ecosystem dream job. I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building with @SuperteamUSA. I’m working harder than I ever have, largely because Nicky’s energy and vision for what we can accomplish in Miami and across the greater USA is genuinely inspiring. I think his vision that we are building is extremely valuable for the ecosystem, and I honestly can’t think of anyone better to lead the charge. Really proud to be doing the damn thing alongside him, and even luckier to call him a close friend. (Also today’s his birthday, so everyone wish our founding father a happy birthday.)

In my first investor meetings, I was the quiet one in the room. I didn't bring commanding energy, nor rehearsed one-liners. Just someone trying to be straight about what I was building and why. What I didn't expect was that this would actually work. What showed was the ability to grasp complex topics fast and explain them back clearly. When a hard question came in, I didn't get flustered but I broke it down and answered it straight. Over a few meetings, I think they started to see something else too: that I was an operator. Someone who would organize, execute, and not leave loose ends. But the thing that closed it was commitment. I showed I would go the extra mile because I was performing conviction and because I genuinely would. They could feel the difference. I've since read a lot about what makes a great fundraiser. The charisma, the timing, the nervous system regulation when the room is ready to write a check. All real. But there's another path nobody talks about enough. Investors don't just back ideas. They back people they believe will figure it out. And "will figure it out" doesn't always look like confidence. Sometimes it looks like depth. The person who does the homework, follows through on the small things, shows up the same whether there's a deal on the table or not. I wasn't the loudest founder in the room. But I think they felt like no obstacle between now and the outcome they wanted would stop me from grinding through it. That's its own kind of conviction. Quieter than most people describe it. But the investors who've worked with me longest recognized it the moment they saw it. You don't have to change who you are to raise. You have to make the thing that's true about you impossible to miss.

My favorite part about writing is that first spark of an idea. It can happen at any time, for any reason. The idea for the Opalite music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for The Life of a Showgirl. I was a guest on one of my favorite shows, @TheGNShow. For those of you who aren’t familiar, it’s a UK late night show where Graham Norton (the insanely charismatic and lovable host) invites a random group of actors, entertainers, musicians, etc to be on his show and we all sit there and chat like it’s a dinner party. They even serve wine. Anyway. I remember thinking I got ridiculously lucky with the group I was paired with. Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and @LewisCapaldi. All people whose work I’ve admired from afar. When we were all talking during the broadcast, Domhnall made a light hearted joke about wanting to be in one of my music videos. He’s Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an *idea*. And so a week later he received an email script I’d written for the Opalite video, where he was playing the starring role. I had this thought that it would be wild if all of our fellow guests on the Graham Norton show that night, including Graham himself, could be a part of it too. Like a school group project but for adults and it isn’t mandatory. To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90’s with us and help with this video. You might even recognize some friendly faces from The Eras Tour. I got to work with one of my favorite people in the world, Rodrigo Prieto, again! I had more fun than I ever imagined - Made new friends, metaphors, and fashion choices. It was an absolute thrill to create this story and these characters. Shot on film. The Opalite video is out now on Spotify & Apple Music.

Happy Heavenly Birthday dad! 🕊️ I can’t believe you would have been 80 years old today. If you were here we would be in Vail skiing together celebrating! I’ll always remember the trips and memories you created for us and never ever take those moments for granted. God really blessed us with the most amazing thoughtful, patient, funny, charismatic, loving and kind dad. I sooo wish you were here to meet all of our babies and see the life we created but I know you’re somehow behind all of it. Thank you for being the best example of the purest love 🤍
