𝐁𝐨𝐜𝐚 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝟐𝟕-𝟐𝟖 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 Following the leak of Adidas' 2027-28 Trefoil away jacket template, Boca kit expert @marto_m3 has imagined how the retro-inspired piece could look for Argentine giants Boca Juniors. The Adidas Boca Juniors 2027-28 away jacket concept applies the club's iconic blue and gold color scheme to Adidas' streamlined 27-28 away track jacket silhouette. The concept features a predominantly golden-yellow body paired with deep navy blue across the raglan-style shoulder panels, horizontal chest stripe, and sleeves. Dynamic yellow curved bands wrap around the elbows, creating a bold 1990s-inspired look.

𝑨𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒔 𝑩𝒐𝒄𝒂 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟕 𝑬𝑸𝑻 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒅 Official images of an upcoming Adidas Equipment (EQT) retro collection for Boca Juniors have surfaced online. The capsule brings the iconic 1990s aesthetic to the Argentine powerhouse, highlighted by a vintage-styled tracksuit and accompanying lifestyle apparel. Thanks to @marto_m3. The centerpiece of the collection is a full-zip track jacket paired with matching track pants, styled in Boca Juniors' traditional blue and yellow with bold white paneling. The design utilizes oversized geometric blocks and angular three-stripe detailing reminiscent of classic 1990s teamwear, finished with the club crest on the left chest and retro Adidas branding along the raised collar. This Boca Juniors release forms part of a wider push from Adidas reviving 1990s EQT designs across several top club partnerships. The complete collection, which will include the track jacket, pants, and matching t-shirts, is slated to hit official stores and retailers in the coming weeks.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰𝒇 𝑨𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒂 𝑲𝒊𝒕𝒔❓ Kit collector and insider @memorabilia1899 has shared an intriguing concept imagining how FC Barcelona would look if Adidas were the club's technical sponsor. Despite Barcelona having a long-term partnership with Nike extended through 2038, the fantasy of the German sportswear giant designing the Blaugrana's kits continues to spark conversation among football shirt enthusiasts. The Adidas Barcelona concept leans heavily into retro aesthetics, combining classic vertical red and blue stripes with the iconic Trefoil logo on the chest. A dark blue polo collar, styled with 'BARÇA 1899' detailing, is paired with gold-orange accents seen across the Three Stripes on the shoulders and the centered Spotify sponsor logo. The full look is completed by navy blue shorts and matching socks. Would you like to see Adidas manufacture Barcelona kits in the future, or does Nike remain the perfect fit for the Catalan giants?

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟳 𝗞𝗶𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 VfB Stuttgart have released a teaser video confirming a reveal scheduled for Monday at noon. The short clip comes ahead of the German club's return to the UEFA Champions League, with all signs pointing directly to the official launch of their special European kit for the 26-27 campaign. The teaser follows leaks of the new Jako-made European home shirt, which was previously spotted in retail stores and worn during VfB Frauen training sessions. The design embraces a distinct retro aesthetic, featuring Stuttgart's traditional red chest band on a white base, finished with vintage red and black striped trim on the collar and cuffs alongside classic Jako Sport branding. However, the teaser video does not hint at the leaked kit, but showcases the Adidas VfB Stuttgart 1988-89 Europa Pokal Winners' kit, which features the iconic Netherlands 1988 design. It remains to be seen if Stuttgart just wanted to drive engagement by having that all-time classic in this video, or if it's actually coming back in a form. [@VfB]

Two new chemicals were approved by the EPA for immediate use in semiconductor plants across the US. The EPA’s own review identified cancer, neurological damage, reproductive harm, eye corrosion and sudden death as potential effects. It also admitted it doesn’t know the level at which these become lethal. It said it lacked the information to work that out. They approved them anyway. You can’t look them up either. The identities are redacted as confidential business information. They’re known publicly only as P-26-0029 and P-26-0045. Both appear to be PFAS, the forever chemicals that don’t break down and stay in your body for decades. Though even that isn’t confirmed, because the documents are redacted. CHIPS Communities United and the Sierra Club, represented by Earthjustice, filed suit in the Ninth Circuit on August 14 alleging violations of the Toxic Substances Control Act. From their attorney: the EPA is sending these into communities and leaving the public to discover the effects one doctor’s visit at a time. This traces back to an executive order fast-tracking chemical approvals for data centers. That’s the part worth sitting with. The AI buildout everyone is investing in has a physical footprint, and somebody lives next to it.

New York City is where people from all over the world come to become Americans. A recent viral cover story in “New York” magazine about Middle Eastern immigrants gets that exactly backward, @liel argues. “Anyone content with magazines laundering logic and language to fit the prevalent ideology and with politicos using their office to advance the interests of one tribe over the other is welcome to retreat to their favorite women-run Syrian supper club,” he writes. “Everyone else should fight like hell to make sure New York never becomes Habibi City.” Read his full piece here:
