Today, the Delta website experienced a DDoS attack originating from a malicious third party, which resulted in a brief interruption to website access. Our team was alerted quickly, in part through reports from active community members, and immediately took the necessary steps to identify, contain, and resolve the issue. Website functionality was restored promptly and securely. Importantly, there was no impact to Delta’s smart contracts or on-chain functionality. All contract operations and underlying technical systems continued to operate as intended throughout the incident. We believe in being transparent with our community, particularly when it comes to security. Keeping our users informed when incidents occur is a responsibility we take seriously, and we will continue to communicate openly as we work to strengthen the platform. As part of our ongoing efforts, we are actively working with a leading security firm to audit Delta’s codebase. We have also implemented additional proactive measures to strengthen our infrastructure and mitigate the risk of similar disruptions in the future. Building Delta is an ongoing commitment, and we will continue investing in the systems, audits, and safeguards necessary to protect Delta and its users.
