Deadlock’s City Never Sleeps update is live.
Valve is adding six heroes, including Rat King, Nurse Harrow, and Deadman Danny.
The three lanes and four districts got a full visual pass.
More than 10,000 new voice lines shipped with a player to listen through them.
The game is still invite-only.
Deadlock is officially back.
Valve just dropped the massive “City Never Sleeps” update, adding:
-six new heroes
-major visual overhaul of the map and neutral units
-HUD improvements
Players immediately came flooding back. Deadlock pushed past its previous 171,490-player all-time peak on Steam, reaching more than 220,000 concurrent players after the update.
Not bad for a game that’s still technically in development.
Political deadlock, disrupted proceedings and Bills passed with limited debate - Parliament’s logjam comes at a cost. As the Govt and Opposition clash, taxpayers bear the burden. @ahuja_harshit94 brings the report.

Valve says Deadlock is still too unfinished for a public release.
The studio called multiplayer games “very hard and risky” and wants the game in players’ hands early.
A new development update says progression and hero and hideout customizations are still being built so they can change with feedback.
Valve also listed speculative work, including large item changes and alternate game modes.
Access stays invite-only. There is still no release date.
CLARITY Act Deadlock Puts White House Crypto Plan In Focus
The White House appears ready to advance crypto policy regardless of the legislative deadlock, ETF Store President Nate Geraci says.
He points to a major White House crypto meeting scheduled for August 19.
President Trump, SEC Chair Paul Atkins and CFTC Chair Michael Selig are expected. Executives from Ripple, Coinbase, Gemini and Polymarket are also expected.
Geraci says the meeting could signal that agencies will move ahead independently.
