Pi Network Opens New Developer Tools As App Building Expands Pi Network (@PiCoreTeam) has introduced new capabilities for developers building applications on its blockchain. The update adds local storage, app specific staking data, and file and video sharing. Pi has also released new developer documentation covering technical resources in one place. The documentation is designed to guide developers from getting started through building and launching applications. Pi says stronger developer tooling is important for expanding the network’s utility through applications.

Pi Network Explains Why its New Developer Tools Matter Pi Network (@PiCoreTeam) says supporting developers is essential to expanding utility at the application level. The network argues that better development tools can turn its technical resources into usable products. "Improving the underlying development environment helps turn Pi’s technical capabilities and ecosystem resources into applications that Pioneers can use," Pi Network noted. Its recently introduced tools include local storage, app specific staking data, and file sharing. Pi claims that this toolset will help bring down development costs while providing useful applications to Pioneers. Pi has now released a new developer documentation site, which provides a complete development guide to the entire process.

$AMZN is acquiring DuckLabs which is the team behind DuckDB thats one of the fastest-growing developer tools in analytics with more than 3M downloads per day. DuckDB will remain open source but AWS now gains the engineers behind it as it looks to make analytics faster and move closer to where developers first touch the data.
