Chinese FM Wang Yi held talks with Seychellois Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora Barry Faure in Beijing. #China# highly appreciates #Seychelles#, together with the governments of many friendly countries, for lawfully and openly revoking overflight clearance for Lai Ching-te, a representative figure of the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces. Seychelles also issued a public statement explicitly stating its solemn position of upholding the one-China principle. The one-China principle has long become a prevailing consensus of the international community. It is believed that more and more countries will, like Seychelles, stand on the right side of international justice and history.

Baloch nationalist groups have announced plans to observe August 11 as "Baloch Independence Day," calling on the global Baloch diaspora to raise the Baloch flag and voice support for an independent Balochistan. The announcement comes amid the decades-long conflict in Pakistan's largest province, where separatist groups continue to demand self-determination. The declaration has drawn attention because Balochistan is strategically significant, hosting Gwadar Port and serving as a key route for the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). While separatist groups argue that the region has faced decades of political and economic marginalization, Pakistan maintains that Balochistan is an integral part of the country and rejects calls for independence. The development is likely to intensify debate over the region's future, although any suggestion of a change in Pakistan's territorial status remains uncertain.

A warm welcome in Jakarta! Prime Minister @narendramodi received an enthusiastic welcome from the Indian diaspora upon his arrival at the hotel in Jakarta. He was greeted with a vibrant cultural showcase featuring a Wayang Kulit rendition of the Ramayana, Indonesia's iconic shadow puppet tradition inspired by the Ramayana and Mahabharata; a Bharatanatyam performance of Shiva Stuthi by Indonesian students; and a devotional Buddhist dance paying homage to the Tiratana. The performances underscored the shared civilizational, cultural and spiritual heritage of India and Indonesia.
