What happens when reCamera meets Home Assistant? 👀 Let’s start with a simple scenario: someone walks up to your front door. Draw a detection zone around the entrance and fine-tune the sensitivity. When motion is detected in that area, reCamera sends an event to Home Assistant, which can trigger a notification on your phone—just like in this demo. Want the entryway light to turn on too? Add that action to your Home Assistant automation. And there’s more you can build: View live video and capture snapshots when alerts are triggered. Manage multiple cameras and check their connection and app status in one place. Connect custom camera apps and use their events in your own automations. Want this in your own setup? The Home Assistant integration for reCamera and reCamera Pro is coming soon. Plug in your reCamera, set up alerts, and automate your home. What feature should we add next? #reCamera# #reCameraPro# #HomeAssistant# #SmartHome# #theGotoAIcameraforYOLOattheedge# #Seeed# #SeeedStudio# #HowToBuildAnAICamera# #EdgeAI#

My whole @home_assistant Yellow failed, after multiple hours debugging the emmc with Astra and Opus 5.5, we arrived at an inevitable "Install @OmarchyLinux on an old laptop and run HA in VM" point. So... Installing Omarchy 🎉 (this laptop has 8GB 3070 GPU whoah, excited for tiny local modals again)

The smart home industry turned every light, camera, thermostat, plug, and sensor into another app. Home Assistant puts them all inside one open-source control center. It connects products from more than 1,000 brands using over 1,500 integrations. You can: - Control your entire house from one dashboard - Turn off every light when you leave - Lower the heating when a window opens - Receive alerts when doors or windows move - Track how much energy each device consumes - Make products from competing brands work together - Build your own private voice assistant The best part is that much of it can run locally inside your home. Your lights can still work when the internet goes down. Your automations do not need to wait for a company server on the other side of the world. And your household data can stay inside your house. It works with thousands of lights, cameras, locks, speakers, sensors, appliances, solar systems, electric cars, and media devices. One dashboard. One automation system. More than 1,000 brands finally forced to speak to each other. Free and open source. It is called Home Assistant.

Grok Bot Suggestion for SpaceXAI: Add a smart home connector & start with Home Assistant. For example Lights, locks, thermostat, status. Opt-in only. Local hub, not scraping every gadget. Grok Bot already runs my desk. Let it run my room when I say so.
