To Elon Musk & SpaceXAI: It would be cool to get an update on whether Grok 5 will be released by the end of the year or if it won't be until 2027.

Accordingto Elon Musk, Grok 4.6 will be released by the end of this week. It will be the 1.5T model "with significantly improved SFT & RL". Grok 4.7 with 2.1T will released a few weeks later.

Grok 4.6 releases around August 7. This will be the 1.5T model with significantly improved SFT & RL.
Grok 4.7 will be the 2.1T model released a few weeks later. This will be better than 4.6 in every way, except slightly slower to serve, albeit with even better token efficiency.

Grok Imagine 1080p videos are now available to SuperGrok users as well. I know this because I have X Premium+/SuperGrok and can now actively select 1080p as the resolution.
Grok and X are the best sources of truth.
I had Grok Build with the Grok 4.5 model to create a GTA style game. The result: the colors, the 3D world, the map, the gameplay, missions, everything turned out pretty cool.

To SpaceXAI: Grok Web needs a link in the settings to the Grok release notes and those notes should always indicate which version of Grok Imagine is currently up to date.
I've been comparing Grok Build / Grok 4.5 and Claude /Claude Code for weeks now. What impresses me most is that Grok Build codes incredibly fast, much faster than Claude, no matter which model I use. The coding speed is very impressive and it also makes Grok more affordable.

The official Grok account just announced that Grok Imagine 1.5 now has native 1080p resolution. This feature is "available for SuperGrok Plus and Heavy subscribers, rolling out to all tiers over the next few days". FHD Videos are the next step for full movies.

I can't stand it when some people call Grok a liar. Grok is the most honest AI there is. Grok doesn't lie or withhold facts. If Grok misunderstands something, it's due to a limitation or a mistake in reasoning, not intentional deception. That's a big difference.

According to Elon Musk, Grok 4.6 comes out in a week and is a "significant improvement". It almost feel like Grok is getting a new model every week now.
August is Grok month! For the first time ever two models will be released in one month: Grok 4.6 & Grok 4.7. This suggests it's still likely that we'll see Grok 5 by the end of the year.
