Humanoid robotics is moving into deployment infrastructure. Agility Robotics @agilityrobotics opened a 60,000-square-foot Fremont facility to train, test and improve the AI capabilities behind Digit, its humanoid robot for logistics and manufacturing environments. The site complements Agility’s RoboFab manufacturing operation in Oregon. Fremont will focus on software, new skills, customer workflows, field operations and safety validation. Agility says Digit is already active with Schaeffler, GXO, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada and Mercado Libre, with more than $300M in conditional multi-year orders for Digit v5. For Physical AI, the infrastructure around the robot may become as important as the robot itself. Source: Agility Robotics / Business Insider

Humanoid Robots Debut at WAIC—The Resemblance Is Uncanny! WAIC 2026 wrapped up in Shanghai, with robots once again stealing the spotlight. Nothing gets the crowd going quite like a robot dancing or shaking hands. Over 200 companies gathered this year, showcasing the latest breakthroughs in humanoid robotics and embodied AIr, and honestly, it’s pretty wild to see in person. #WAIC2026# #Robotics# #HumanoidRobot# #EmbodiedAI# #Shanghai# #TechInsight# Data Source:Jiemian News, Robots: The No.1 Hard Worker at WAIC 2026, as of 2026.07.19 Risk Disclaimer: Investment involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Humanoid robotics is the bull thesis of the next decade, and almost nobody can buy it. Figure, Physical Intelligence, 1X, Apptronik, Unitree, Agility, and most leading humanoid robotics companies remain private. Access runs through a small set of institutional funds, while the cycle that could define the labor force of the next century is being underwritten without retail in the room. XMAQUINA built the fix: a decentralized ecosystem that opens robotics capital markets to broader participation. The companies being built today will define what physical labor looks like for the next fifty years. If access stays locked behind Sand Hill term sheets and prime-broker desks, robotics becomes one of the most consequential wealth-creation cycles of our lifetimes and one of the most exclusive. The people who saw it coming, who use these systems, and who will work alongside them should not be forced to watch from the sidelines. That is the outcome XMAQUINA exists to prevent. We're excited to have @XMAQUINA launch on Virtuals Protocol. The infrastructure that opened the agent economy to anyone with a wallet now brings that same access model to robotics. The bull thesis of the next decade should not stay private.

$UNITREE — China's first humanoid-robotics name just hit the public market, and it's worth zooming out. Unitree began its STAR Market subscription today, priced at RMB 150.80 — roughly a RMB 61B valuation. Demand was heavy: the online tranche was oversubscribed thousands of times over. But the bigger story isn't one stock. A first listing gives the entire physical-AI space a public-market anchor — and physical AI is a whole supply chain, not a single name. From actuators and sensors, to the vision and control models, to the compute behind them — the parts that make embodied AI work are spread across dozens of companies. Unitree's debut is a reason to start mapping them.

⚡️China’s humanoid robotics company @UnitreeRobotics is heading public at an $8.5B valuation, turning founder Wang Xingxing into a multi-billionaire. Unitree Robotics has priced its Shanghai STAR Market IPO at RMB 150.80 per share, implying an initial market cap of nearly RMB 61 billion ($8.5B). Founder Wang Xingxing will retain a 33.36% direct and indirect stake, valuing his holdings at roughly RMB 20.35 billion ($2.8B). Separately, DeepSeek is rumored to have joined the IPO as a strategic investor, subscribing for around 933,400 shares worth RMB 141 million. China’s hottest robotics IPO may now also have an AI heavyweight on its cap table. #Unitree# #Robotics# #DeepSeek# #ChinaTech#

🤖UBTech is launching humanoid robots with emotional expression, starting at around $15K The company is positioning these robots as more expressive and socially aware, moving beyond basic task execution. At that price point, it’s one of the more accessible humanoid robots announced so far. Still early days, but it shows how quickly the hardware side of humanoid robotics is progressing. Personnally, i find those a bit disturbing to look at.
