Black, white, and pink all over! 🐧
These flightless birds are making their impact on Antarctica’s Danger Islands, seen from space. The pink-orange hue to the islands isn’t from the land’s minerals, but from penguin droppings, tinted by a diet of krill.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is now running natively on PC through an unofficial fan-made project.
The project translates the PS4 game to Vulkan, allowing it to run without traditional PS4 emulation.
The latest beta supports:
• Up to 4K resolution
• 144 FPS, 240 FPS and uncapped FPS
• Mouse and keyboard
• Gamepads
• FSR 1
• Anisotropic filtering
• V-Sync
The entire campaign is playable, although the project is still in beta.
Multiplayer isn’t fully supported yet, but the offline Botzone mode works.
The developer tested the project on a Ryzen 7 5700 + RTX 2060 Super, showing just how far this kind of fan-made PC work can go.
You still need your own PS4 copy of the game.
