Maharashtra Government under CM Devendra Fadnavis announces a major relief package for farmers. Farm loans of up to ₹2 lakh will be waived, while farmers who repaid their loans on time will receive a ₹50,000 incentive. More than ₹7,000 crore is being directly transferred to the bank accounts of nearly 17 lakh farmers.
