Minecraft is getting an autumn update with a new biome called the Dappled Forest. The next big update, called Chaos Cubed, comes out on June 17, 2026. It brings in the Sulfur Cube mob, which sucks up nearby blocks and changes how it behaves depending on what it absorbs. There’s also a new underground biome called the Sulfur Cave full of toxic stuff.

Mina the Hollower from Yacht Club Games, the studio behind Shovel Knight, has sold around 55,000 copies on Steam shortly after launch. Console sales figures are not yet available. Co-founder Sean Velasco has really high expectations. He stated, “If we don’t sell a million copies, I’m going to be disappointed.” The game is priced at $20.

Mina the Hollower is currently the highest-rated game of 2026 on Metacritic, with a score of 92 based on 42 critic reviews. The game launched this week and moved ahead of major releases including Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light. The game takes inspiration from classic 1990s exploration adventures So far, only two games have scored above 90 on Metacritic in 2026, making Mina the Hollower one of the year
