Nightdive Studios head Stephen Kick said Eternal Darkness “deserves the treatment” his studio can give it, and told people to watch the studio’s Deep Dives. No remaster was announced. Kick called the 2002 GameCube exclusive one of his favorites. The comment was posted on X. Nightdive pointed to its YouTube Deep Dive videos. Nintendo still owns the rights. Talks with Nintendo went nowhere more than four years ago. There is no price, date, platform list, or playable build. A quote is not a shipment. What you can play today is the original disc. A remaster would still need a Nintendo deal, then years of work. Until that exists, treat this as interest, not a product.
