🚨 JUST IN: America’s 9th-largest bank is making a nearly $1 BILLION bet on Texas and dual-listing on NYSE Texas. Fifth Third, with roughly $300 billion in assets, says it will open 150 new Texas financial centers by 2029. Another 106 former Comerica locations will convert to Fifth Third next month, giving the bank more than 250 locations across the state. Its shares begin trading on NYSE Texas tomorrow alongside its primary NYSE listing. Fifth Third also established its Texas regional headquarters in Dallas this year. “Texas attracts businesses, talent and investment at an extraordinary pace,” the bank said.

🚨 DEXIT: LandBridge’s board has unanimously approved leaving Delaware and redomiciling the company in Texas. The NYSE-listed energy and infrastructure company will convert from a Delaware LLC into a Texas corporation. LandBridge says the move should expand its eligibility for major stock indexes and broaden its investor base. One detail worth noting: LandBridge already trades on both the NYSE and NYSE Texas.
