Requests for Builders I put together a list of ideas for builders joining our Runtime Hackathon. Submissions are due Saturday, September 19 at 4 PM EDT, with demos starting at 5 PM. All the details: After putting this together, I figured it was worth sharing more broadly with anyone looking for interesting things to build. Here’s what I shared with builders: We’re looking for ambitious products that push forward onchain finance, markets and autonomous agents. These are starting points, not boundaries. Build something people want. Put it onchain where being onchain actually makes the product better. 1. Tokenized Stocks & 24/7 Markets Build products around stocks and other traditional assets moving onchain. Think market making, liquidity, arbitrage, peg monitoring, rebalancing, price discovery, portfolio products and strategies that take advantage of the gap between traditional market hours and 24/7 crypto markets. 2. New Trading Products & Interfaces Rethink how people discover, analyze and trade assets. Trading terminals, social trading, copy trading, indexes, automated strategies, DCA, perps, prediction markets, portfolio automation, risk tools and entirely new interfaces for interacting with markets. 3. New Market Infrastructure Build primitives that make onchain markets better. Dynamic fees, new AMMs, Uniswap v4 hooks, onchain options, volatility markets, order books, RFQ systems, new launch mechanisms, liquidity-management systems and new forms of price discovery. 4. Stablecoins, Payments & Global Money Make money move better. Stablecoin payments, merchant tools, remittances, payroll, subscriptions, invoicing, cross-border settlement, local-currency stablecoins, savings products and infrastructure that makes stablecoins invisible to the end user. 5. Agentic Commerce Build a world where software can transact on its own. Agents that buy services, pay APIs, negotiate, subscribe, hire other agents, manage budgets or participate in marketplaces using programmable payments. 6. Autonomous Financial Agents Give AI agents wallets and let them participate directly in financial markets. Agents that trade, rebalance portfolios, manage treasury, move liquidity, execute strategies, monitor risk, find yield, hedge positions or manage financial operations for users and businesses. 7. Agent-to-Agent Economies Build infrastructure for agents to discover, trust, pay and coordinate with each other. Agent marketplaces, reputation systems, service networks, shared resources, machine-to-machine payments and protocols where autonomous agents become economic participants. 8. Borrowing, Yield & Leverage Build better ways to access capital. Borrow against tokenized stocks and RWAs, create new lending markets, optimize yield, manage collateral, refinance positions and build leveraged or structured financial products. 9. Onchain Credit & Reputation Explore credit that does not require everything to be overcollateralized. Onchain reputation, financial history, identity and behavioral data could unlock credit products for individuals, agents and businesses that traditional crypto lending cannot serve. 10. Token Lifecycle & Treasury Tools Tokens need infrastructure after launch. Build systems for buybacks, burns, fee reinvestment, liquidity management, treasury management, vesting, distributions, community takeovers, ownership transitions and automated token operations. 11. Internet-Native Capital Formation Rethink how new companies and projects get funded. Products that let founders raise directly from users, customers or communities and use tokens to coordinate ownership, distribution, incentives and growth. 12. Tokenized Real-World Assets Stocks are only the beginning. Explore private credit, startup equity, treasuries, real estate, commodities, collectibles, revenue streams or other assets that become more useful when they are programmable, composable and globally accessible. 13. Onchain Asset Management Build the next generation of funds and investment products. Automated portfolios, tokenized funds, indexes, strategy vaults, structured products, risk-managed portfolios and products that combine traditional and crypto assets. 14. Onchain Content & Creator Businesses Build media and social products where content has an economic layer. Video, livestreaming, research, communities, creator markets and social products where creators and users can own, fund, trade or participate in the networks they help grow. 15. Financial Data, Intelligence & Risk Make onchain markets easier to understand. Real-time analytics, portfolio intelligence, risk engines, fraud detection, market surveillance, agent-readable financial data, research agents and tools that turn raw onchain activity into useful decisions. 16. Consumer Finance Rebuilt Onchain Take something people already use in finance and rebuild it around crypto rails. Banking, savings, brokerage, payments, credit, insurance, investing or financial management where 24/7 settlement, global access and programmable money create a materially better experience. 17. Something We Haven’t Thought Of Some of the best products will not fit neatly into an existing category. If there is a financial product, market or autonomous business that only becomes possible because money and assets are programmable, we want to see it. The goal: build a real product with the potential to become a company, not a demo built around a sponsor API. Bankr does not need to be the core infrastructure of the product. Where a token makes sense, think about how it can help fund, distribute, coordinate or grow the project, with Bankr serving as the launch and distribution layer.
