Here's what we delivered this week: 1️⃣ We introduced the Kite Control Plane at the GTLC 2026 Bay Area Chinese Tech Leaders Summit, providing a new developer-side product to solve the action bottleneck for autonomous agents. 2️⃣ On @gracegongGG's Venture with Grace podcast, our Co-Founder & CEO @ChiZhangData mapped the three stages of agent-to-agent commerce and the infrastructure required to unlock the final stage of autonomous trade. 3️⃣ We joined @agisummitai in San Francisco, where developers explored with us the trust and scaling requirements for autonomous AI in professional environments. 4️⃣ We hosted Proof of AI: Korea Special Edition in Seoul, bringing together builders, wallet teams, and security experts to define the identity and settlement layers required for the agentic economy. 5️⃣ At the AI³ Growth Hackathon hosted by @OpenBuildxyz and @hack_weekly, our Co-Founder & CTO @scottshics explained why the next generation of developer products must exist: GenAI made intelligence cheap, but monthly bills have not followed. 6️⃣ We welcomed @Team1VN to the Kite ecosystem as part of Cohort 1, growing the global network of community-led builders driving onchain, agent-first development. 7️⃣ The KITE Spot Trading Tournament is live on @binance with 5,000,000 KITE token vouchers available, supporting the L1 where agents access verifiable identity and programmable spend controls. Anthropic launched Project Glasswing in April 2026 to tackle a growing cybersecurity problem: software has more security flaws than humans can realistically find and fix. The company gave about 50 organizations early access to a new AI model called Claude Mythos Preview, designed specifically to search for vulnerabilities in code. The results exceeded expectations. >In just one month, the system found more than 10,000 high or critical security vulnerabilities. >Scanning over 1,000 open-source projects uncovered 23,019 total issues >6,202 were rated high or critical severity. >Independent reviewers confirmed that about 90.6% of the findings were real problems. Several organizations reported major discoveries: >Cloudflare identified around 2,000 bugs, including 400 high or critical ones. >Mozilla fixed 271 vulnerabilities in Firefox version 150, more than 10 times the number fixed in the previous release. >The project also rediscovered old flaws, including a 27-year-old vulnerability in OpenBSD and a 16-year-old issue in FFmpeg.

Woah! @Nubank just got authorization to become a bank in Mexico. 15% of Mexican adults were already Nu customers before it was legally a bank. The numbers from the press release: - 15 million customers, adding 12,000 per day (!!!) - $5.9bn in deposits - 54% of customers got their first-ever credit card from Nu - Breakeven in Q1 2026, with the efficiency ratio improving 78 percentage points - A projected $4.2bn investment in Mexico through 2030 Nubank is a monster. Just a monster. And the detail that got me: Nu built all of this on a SOFIPO license, a wrapper originally designed for community savings co-ops. The company calls the conversion "unprecedented" because no SOFIPO has ever transformed into a bank before. Nu is the first. Which makes Mexico arguably the most competitive digital banking market anywhere right now. Revolut launched its first bank outside Europe there in January. Plata (built by the ex-Tinkoff team, now a $3.1bn valuation) got its de novo license in February. Ualá and Klar bought theirs. Santander launched Openbank. Hey Banco spun out of Banregio. Every region's neobank war produced a winner, and those winners have never fought each other on the same turf. Brazil's champion, Europe's most aggressive fintech, the Tinkoff diaspora, Argentina's Ualá. Mexico is the first market where all the playbooks collide. Nubank enters that fight with 15 million customers, a deposit book, and breakeven economics. What I wonder about is the next product. A bank license unlocks nómina, and payroll is how Mexican banks lock customers in. Whoever wins payroll wins the market. And Nubank's take on that could be fascinating.
