I don't think that's the best comparison.
clevCVX is closer to a zero-coupon bond than a wrapper.
You borrow against your CVX, and instead of making periodic repayments, harvested bribes gradually reduce your debt until the Furnace clears your position.
It's a simple way to unlock liquidity while keeping your long-term CVX exposure.
TradFi has used zero-coupon bonds for decades.
