During that period, if you wanted a high position in corporate America or academia, rejecting woke made you DOA. All these institutions swallowed woke hook, line and sinker. This also led to the ESG movement, which sought to impose woke through the economy.
We were the first to fight back by eliminating DEI, ESG and CRT. We were right but we were definitely swimming against the tide.
