ASE Showcases 18 Packaging Research Projects with Three Taiwanese Universities
ASE ($ASX) presented joint research results on October 16 with National Cheng Kung, National Sun Yat-sen and National Chung Cheng universities. The projects cover thermal management, warpage control, materials analysis, process improvements and AI-assisted design automation.
ASE said rising AI and high-performance computing demand is driving investment in both advanced packaging capacity and engineering capabilities. The collaboration uses tools including digital twins and fluid simulation to accelerate process validation and bring research into production applications.
