Zcash's shielded pool just printed its highest weekly count in over four years and the fourth-highest on record. Last week: 62,812 private transactions. The only weeks that have cleared more are the three from the summer-2022 blow-off: - 135,389 in late June - 80,732 in early July - 64,795 in early August

Dash goes shielded with Zcash's Orchard It's live on mainnet. Dash (@Dashpay) activated Orchard-based shielded pools on its Evolution chain. Sender, receiver and amount hidden, one-second confirmations, wallet sync in roughly 20 seconds. Twelve years of PrivateSend coin mixing, now replaced by zero-knowledge proofs.
