Stellar Blade’s Bayonetta collab is free. Four outfits for EVE: Bayonetta, Nun, Jeanne, and Black Tresses. They hit PS5, PC, and Switch 2 when Complete Edition launches in early November. Stellar Blade boss Hyung-tae Kim says he would love to work with PlatinumGames again, and he even offered to help design characters for Bayonetta 4. “I hope the series continues until at least Bayonetta 10.” Kim also joked that he would be happy to spend his days at PlatinumGames helping design characters for the next Bayonetta game. The conversation later turned into a more serious discussion about collaborating again in the future, with Inaba also expressing interest in working together. For now, the two studios are collaborating on four Bayonetta-themed skins for Stellar Blade, launching on November 5 alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version. The skins will be free on all platforms, including an original design led by Kim himself.

Stellar Blade and Lies of P have helped encourage more Korean developers to make console games, according to Shift Up technical director Dong-ki Lee. Speaking at Gamescom 2026, Lee said the success of games like Stellar Blade and Lies of P showed Korean developers that they could take on ambitious console projects. “Games like ours, and also Lies of P, those kinds of games came out in Korea and that really made developers in Korea go take up the challenge for console games more,” He also pointed to Crimson Desert, adding: “We have Crimson Desert now as well, so they’re having all this influence on each other, so that’s really good.” It’s similar to how Black Myth: Wukong helped boost China’s PC and console game industry.
