Yes, there was a version of Optimus present, but certainly not V3, nor doing anything else than scanning the crowd, comparable to the Nov shareholder meeting ones. Did Elon appear? Not while we were in. But this actually proved to be a great occasion to discuss with the @ 250 employees who joined us @ 250 guests. And that had some interesting details. Was trying to get info on my favorite topic from @beehrhart and @vaibhav_taneja , to no avail of course, but we had good laughs. Great info from @EricETesla and @aelluswamy and @roshanthomas on development and supply chain. Elon not being there gave the space needed for these discussions. Do I have something groundbreaking to report back? No, but many more breadcrumbs and the conviction that we have the best teams in place. And boy, was I impressed by Vaibhav. And by so many of the others there who came to meet us. Now why in the world there was no livestream still puzzles me. We had signed a social media embargo until 8pm CT, so it felt long to wait. Also, no chairs, so after 3.5 hours standing, I was exhausted. My flight tomorrow morning means I have to leave my hotel by 4am CT, so now room service, then collapse in bed. You will have many videos and reporting from all the content creators that stay here tomorrow. And that is the real story: this fabulous Cybercab, quietly hoovering through the town, excellent comfort inside and it just works. No steering wheel, no pedals, and it feels completely normal. Sorry we made you wait so long. You deserve better, but that's just the entertainment part which was "strange". What matters is how well they executed our future of transportation. Perfection. A+
