.@USTreasury is committed to disrupting and degrading Iran’s illicit financial activities, including its abuse of digital assets.  Today, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned multiple wallets tied to the Central Bank of Iran, resulting in the freeze of over $130 million. We will continue to aggressively follow the money and deny the Iranian regime access to the proceeds of its illicit revenue schemes.

At President Trump’s direction, @USTreasury is bringing the full weight of our authorities to defend the integrity of the U.S. and global financial systems. We will identify illicit funding, however artfully it is concealed. We will dismantle the networks that sustain political terrorism, however respectable their fronts may be. We will pursue those who enable political violence, however distant their jurisdictions.

A strong financial future starts early. Strategy has joined the Invest America Business Pledge and will match the @USTreasury's $1,000 @TrumpAccounts contribution for newborns of U.S. employees, plus contribute $250 annually for each eligible child.

Last week, I met with Colombia’s Vice President-elect @jrestrp and congratulated him and President-Elect Abelardo De La Espriella on their victory. The Trump Administration is committed to a strong U.S.-Colombia partnership, and @USTreasury looks forward to working with the incoming administration to advance pro-growth policies, combat corruption and narcoterrorism, attract investment, and work with international financial institutions to support Colombia’s economic recovery and long-term prosperity. On this day, July 5, 1865, the @SecretService was established under @USTreasury to protect the integrity of our nation’s financial system. Yesterday, they once again demonstrated their professionalism, safely evacuating attendees and welcoming everyone back for @POTUS' remarks and the fireworks. Thank you to the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement officers who keep America safe.

Financial Literacy fuels the American Dream. It is a foundational skill, similar to reading and writing, which is why we must get our youth engaged and excited to learn from an early age. I was pleased to join students, educators, and local partners including nearly a dozen financial institutions for a financial literacy fair at @USTreasury to close out Financial Literacy Month. In addition to visiting booths and exhibitions with learning modules, the students in attendance were invited to participate in @Visa’s Financial Soccer game with special guest “coaches,” @TreasurerBeach and Assistant Secretary Luke Pettit. Under President Trump’s leadership, our Administration is championing financial literacy for all age groups across the country. We are working to ensure that young Americans have the tools to save, invest, and plan for the years ahead—through @TrumpAccounts and many other resources available at As we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary, strengthening financial literacy will help expand opportunity and prepare the next generation to build a more prosperous future.

Today's bipartisan vote in Senate Banking to advance CLARITY is a decisive turning point. What struck me was the conviction on both sides, those who voted to advance and even those who voted against. @Sen_Alsobrooks spoke powerfully about how the "digital revolution is upon us" — an opportunity for small businesses, wealth creation, and younger Americans who want to be part of it and the urgent need for the right protections. @SenLBR spoke with equal conviction about her constituents in DE and why getting this right matters.
